Trivia Recap – April 13, 2017 – Wurst Bar

We had our weekly trivia bout Wednesday at The Wurst Bar hosted by Stacy, had 73 points going into the final – which is the highest score we have ever logged in a My Trivia Live game. We finished in first with a $30 first place prize despite talking ourselves out of the correct final question answer. We blame Brad. JK, we LOVE Brad! It’s all good, everyone makes mistakes, even animal “experts!” Interesting note, we “officially” started playing as a registered league team on this day in 2016, though it had not yet become a “Pods” gig. A friend of mine named Angie and I started things off as team “Generation Double X,” playing mostly as a duo for a few months. Team GDX still occasionally gathers for trivia games (pssst…we usually kick ass when we do!). But for the time being, the ‘Pods are the ones “in the house” Wednesdays at Wurst. Perhaps a GDX “reunion” could occur sometime in the summer months! Spoiler alert, we will have three women playing on our team for the Sporcle Live league championship April 23! A female majority on the ‘Pods team? It’s so crazy it just might…be crazy! What’s certain is that we should have a pretty fun time! Even if there is a reduction in fart jokes…uh.. Let’s get on to those game questions, shall we?

As always, Go Pods, and stay classy, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar!
